BIO
In 2021, Emily Balkind joined The Eklund | Gomes team, the #1 Mega Team in the US. Born and raised in Westlake Village, she brings with her unique knowledge and expertise of the Los Angeles real estate market from a local perspective. After graduating from college with a degree in Political Science, Emily founded a one-stop shop record label. It was there that she gained true well rounded professional experience. Emily fine-tuned her skills, managing multiple facets of the fast-paced industry establishing strong and lasting connections. Emily sold the business to a major label and continued to work as a publicist representing a myriad of artists in the ever-changing world of music, while managing tight schedules and coordinating a variety of events. From there, she transitioned to working for the renowned Los Angeles public relations agency, “The Society Group” focusing on luxury real estate in the greater Los Angeles metro, which led her to Marcy Roth and the Eklund | Gomes team. She was a natural fit and came on board, working alongside the highly acclaimed group of stellar realtors who represent both buyers and sellers in the competitive L.A. real estate market. Her previous experience as a business owner, publicist and marketing manager, combined with her knowledge of the Los Angeles real estate make her a wonderful addition to the Eklund | Gomes team.
